We humbly asked for the the community's support for our flyer distribution, and your response was overwhelming. Scores of UCanSpeakForMe client families, community organizations, and supporters of the "Stop The Violence" message gathered in huge numbers to pass out flyers in Cincinnati's Police District 3 on July 23, 2017.
We are proud to have local media partners such as WKRC Local12 and WLWT Channel 5 helping us to give a voice to families through their news coverage of this important event. Thank you to Ms. Antroinette Worsham who's brother was murdered, and Mr. Aaron Pullins who lost a nephew to senseless violence for sharing their stories to news cameras. A special thanks to members of the Cincinnati Human Relations Commission for their much appreciated support and physical presence while families canvassed the community passing out flyers.
There is much to be thankful for because of this event. Families that want the violence to stop on our streets. Multiple organizations working together for a positive outcome for a single minded event.
And the local media that lend their voice to the serious concerns of the community they provide the latest breaking information.
From our CEO, Ms. Hope Dudley, thank you to everyone who helped this event become a success.
